One in a Million Award recipient: Onzie
Where they are multiplying good: Los Angeles, CA
How they are multiplying good: The entire team at ONZIE truly practices the values they preach, meeting the highest standards of quality in every article of clothing they produce, and doing so locally, with 99% of their clothing sewn, cut, and dyed right in LA, with a priority in supporting small business owners, boutique fitness studios, and now meeting the needs of so many of our essential workers, and healthcare professionals all over the nation. ONZIE has responded to the critical need of our Healthcare Workers and First Responders by transitioning their line to creating non medical masks, made from up-cycled fabric used in their yoga apparel. Proceeds on purchases are donated across America to Healthcare Workers through a donation to the Center for Disaster Philanthropy. David Gardner, Chief Operating Officer, and the ONZIE team have also donated about 40,000 masks up to this point and have chosen to disperse them to many individuals and organizations; such as Cedar Sinai Hospital, Martin Luther King Hospital, human rights advocacy groups, Emergency Medical Technicians, individuals in need and individuals with compromised immune systems, and the list goes on. We are all so thankful for their continued dedication to meeting the needs of our communities across the country.
